2010 / Refractions
This experiment looks at how light refracts through different kinds of materials: glass, plastic or liquid for example. When light (or any wave) travels through a medium, its speed changes causing refraction.
These images were made through hammered glass windows in an apartment building on Flatbush Ave, at night, only using traffic and the stores across the street as light sources.
